Does it amuse anyone else that Hamlet says "I am dead, Horatio" and "Horatio, I am dead" and"O, I die, Horatio!" before he actually dies?? I've always thought the funniest line in the entire play is where Polonius says "O, I am slain!" and dies immediately afterwards. There's just something so overdone about that line that makes it inherently funny (at least in today's world, where cameras do close-ups on everything and acting is way more subtle).
Bloody English class… such a PITA.
