aaah i'm so mad. i just typed up a really long entry about my weekend at MIT... and then it didn't post. so until i have more time to write it up again, here's the abridged version:

thurs- lots of driving, meeting some cool ppl, taking a picture next to a penis ice sculpture while east campus ppl threw themselves and the window and motioned for me to lick it, hanging out, sleep.

fri- gen biochem (yuck), intro genetics (cool), arts@mit (cool but no future for me... too competitive), random chats here and there, anime showing (really funny-- "animation runner"), frat party (lots of guys getting some ass but less skanky than model UN dances... no drunks). sleep at 3am.

sat-- boston to see Eddie From Ohio (but on the wrong date), shopping at filene's basement instead, trying to get to faneuil hall but heading south towards chinatown, back to MIT, dorm touring, trying to get to parties but ending up in a group of prefrosh instead, chilling, late night viewing of legally blonde. drunks harrassing us, general ignoring and more hanging out. sleep at 4am.

sun-- check out at student ctr, cab to south station (luggage too heavy, T too far), 5 hour ride on two buses back to EB, home.

whew. I'm 99% sure I'm going to MIT now... the workload is as bad as they say (despite efforts to decieve the prefrosh), but I think I'll be happier here than Rutgers... at least the ppl are cooler.
