Saturday, October 18, 2003 a bit of randomness. grass, robin's egg-blue sky, cloudwatching giving cloud shapes silly names being awestruck by beauty watching the sun set from a cliff above the western shore light reflecting off of water moonlight on the gentle ocean waves and the silhouette of rocks rising majestically out of the water flying over peak after snow-covered peak and pine-tree surrounded lakes a sunrise so spectacular even the most vivid palette couldn't recreate it the blue green jewel color underneath waterfalls flying a kite as the sun sets on the beach waking up early sunday morning without an alarm clock stretching after a hard physical day followed by a night of good sleep rising sun, bird calls, morning dew in droplets on the grass cafe mocha, blueberry pancakes, everything bagels with vegetable cream cheese, strawberries, carrots hot chocolate when you've just come in from the cold the way snow sticks to evergreens and leafless tree branches when it first falls the way the world becomes silent and peaceful when wrapped in a pristine white blanket being able to dive back under the cozy covers on a snow day the aroma of fresh-from-the-oven baked goods oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, cake, cinnamon buns laughing so hard my sides are in pain, i'm gasping, and tears are rolling down my face unpolluted, clear night sky, countless number of stars learning the constellations warm campfire, warm smiles, acoustic guitar, blending voices comfortable silence if only life was this good all the time... self-portrait. a dorky experiment. --posted by M @ 1:41 AM | 0 comments 0 Comments: |
