Monday, November 03, 2003 My justice paper is still not finished. 6 hours to go... oof. Why everyone should listen to Aaron Copland's compositions: -hoedown actually makes you feel like a hick. and it's fun. -appalachian spring is beautiful -the titles actually reflect the songs really well -even if all his songs didn't have historical value in the sense that they're supposed to reflect americana at its best, they'd still be gorgeous -he's gay. and a communist. what more could you want in a composer? i'm getting nerdier by the minute. omg, someone save me... grace and i thought about making nerd tshirts. one of these days i'm going to pick a cheap baby tee on sale and emblazon the front with "hey baby, can I be your derivative?" and the back with "cuz I want to lie tangent to your curves..." --posted by M @ 2:00 AM | 0 comments 0 Comments: |
